Product details

How It Works:
Open Line (No Connection): The LED remains off, indicating a possible fault in the DDR4 slot or the CPU—this may also suggest the CPU requires reballing.
Short Circuit Line : The LED will glow brighter than the others, signaling a short in the slot or CPU area.
Important Test Points:
For advanced diagnostics, you can remove the tester’s battery (cr2032) and power on the laptop to measure key signals directly from the test points, including:
- RESET
- SCL
- SDA
These points help in verifying the integrity of DDR4 Smbus communication and DRAMRST
Easily Detect CPU Reset Signal:
The tester allows for quick and easy detection of the reset signal coming from the CPU, helping you verify whether the processor is initializing properly.
LED Indicator Pin Reference:
If any LED shows abnormal behavior, you can identify the corresponding pin number by checking the label on the back of the tester. This allows for easier troubleshooting of specific signal lines or faults.
The tester includes a CR2032 battery holder with a wire extension that can be attached or removed, depending on your needs. You can choose a short or long configuration—either solder black-to-black and red-to-red to extend the wire, or open the holder’s two screws to connect the short wire directly.
Note : The Led market with Yellow Point is AlERT Pin which is normally OFF , and all pins details available on the backside of the tester
