Product details

Dell PSID ADAPTER is a smart tool designed to provide genuine Dell charger identification while working with DC power supplies, allowing technicians to safely power, test, and diagnose Dell laptops without the need for an original adapter.

It accurately simulates original Dell PSID communication, ensuring proper charger recognition and stable laptop operation during testing and charger circuit repair, while also allowing technicians to monitor current consumption directly from the power supply.

Supports all Dell charger wattages:
45W • 65W • 90W • 130W • 150W • 180W • 210W • 230W • 240W • 280W • 330W and 360W (for new Alienware Area  generation)

The adapter also includes multiple GND pins and multiple +19V input/output pins for easy connection to all charger cables (small and large connectors), along with the PSID/ID pin connection.
The adapter features a built-in button for quick switching between supported charger wattages, along with an activity LED that indicates PSID signal generation and operation.
